August 16th Sketch Challenge at Stuck On U Sketches

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far! It's that time again for another awesome sketch challenge at Stuck On U Sketches. This sketch has been provided by our lovely Leah Schaeffer.
So come on over and take a look at the rest of the design teams wonderful creations! This challenge will run from Aug 16th-29th.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my interpretation:

This is a pic of hubby and me. I just loved how these colors looked together. The papers are from the kit of the month at swirlydoos which included papers from IOD and Creative Imaginations.

Here you can see a closeup of the chippy treatment and also the stencil in the top left corner. I used some light modeling paste here. I also took apart this black flower and used it as a bottom layer to the pink prima flower.

I used these pink brads, distressed the edges with chalk ink and did some hand stitching.

Here is another closeup of my flower cluster. I painted some of these flowers with white gesso to accent the edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful week!

Stuck On U Sketches Challenge

Hello Everyone and boy how these last two weeks have flown by so fast!!!!
It's time for another sketch challenge at Stuck On U Sketches. This challenge will run up until August 15th, so head on over and check out the other designs from our talented bunch.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my interpretation with close-ups:

This is a pic of my fur baby lab mix, Cozmo. He's such a wonderful and loving dog. I figured he deserved a spotlight, LOL.
This layout was created using my Swirlydoos kit of the month. And these papers worked out perfectly with these pics.

These are chippies from Dusty Attic which i painted with Liquitex Glass Beads and Silks Acrylic Glaze in honey amber.

These letters are made by covering them in foil tape and running them through my embossing machine. Then I used some alcohol ink so the grooves and pattern show more.

Here's a pic of one of the flower clusters. I made the larger flower in the bunch, the beige flower.

I did lots of distressing and punching.

Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful week!

Don't forget to head on over to SOUS to see some more wonderful creations.
