I created this card using papers from the swirlydoos kit, The Paper Doll. It included papers from Kaisercraft The Lake House Collection.
This is the inside of the card.
This is a pic of the small cluster. I painted the dusty attic chippy in embossing powder, Razzleberry Plum from Lindy's Stamp Gang.
Here's a closeup of the grunge paper rose that I made. It was my first time making these roses..aaah! I made both roses using Tim Holtz Grungepaper, spritzed with starburst spray in Black Orchid Silver and Pretty in Pink Pink from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I also inked the edges with black coal chalk ink.
For a video tutorial on how to make the grunge paper rose click here.
I did some stamp embossing and here's another closeup of my grunge paper rose.
Thanks for looking and would love to hear from you!
You did an awesome job with the roses!!! Make more . . . :)
ReplyDeleteLoving all the great techniques you've used here, Erica! You know, cards can be deceiving in that you really need close-ups sometimes to see the small details. Great job on that rose .. wow! And I adore the inside of the card! You nailed it!
ReplyDeleteDang...this is so crazy sick!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I loved the papers you chose and now you made your
own blooms to add! Dude, so cool..I'll have to watch that video
for sure!
The details and techniques you've done really make this something WOW!
Big hugs, Leah
