Project Life Challenge at Stuck On U Sketches

Hi everyone! I hope you had a fabulous week! With that said, we have another Project Life Challenge at Stuck On U Sketches ~ Add two journaling cards.

Here is my PL creation: 

This PL is dedicated to my grandfather on father's day. On the lower right side is a picture of my husband, grandfather, and me. And on the upper left side is a picture of grandfather, two cousins, aunt, and me. 

Oh and these papers were from the Bo Bunny Little Miss collection..so darling! 

The challenge was to use two journaling cards in your PL submission. One of my journaling cards says:

If there ever comes a day, 

when we can't be together, 

keep me in

your heart, 

I'll stay there

forever.

Stuck On U Sketches Sketch Challenge

Love Moments

This is a pic of my husband and me. I took this using my iphone. I also used my KOTM from Swirlydoos to create this layout. 

Below are some close-ups with more detail. 

Here you can see the distressing, masking, and stencils I used with acrylic paint. I also distressed the edges of my paper using some prima chalk ink. 

Love those orange/yellowish flowers. They are from both petaloo and prima. 

Awe..I made this flower using my tattered florals die from TH. I also colored with TA glimmer mist and inked the edges. 

The wood flourish is from kaisercraft painted with LuminArte Silks in bolivian blue.

New Project Life Challenge at Stuck On U Sketches

Hello Everyone! Today there is another reveal at Stuck On U Sketches for our Project Life Challenge "Use Twine".

Project Life- Twine

This is a layout of my hubby when we went out shooting..doing the manly man thing out in the desert. 

I had several of these pictures of him and thought this is the best project to use it for. Shooting his gun and smoking cigars..what can be more manlier? 

But I have to admit, and as silly as it may sound..it is definitely a stress reliever to go shooting with my husband. We always have such a good time.

Stuck On U Sketches Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone! I hope you've had a wonderful week so far. I am so excited to be a part of the SOUS sketch design team. Woohoo! And with that said we have a wonderful sketch created by our lovely Sandi Clarkson.   This sketch will run from June 7th-20th. Remember When

I created this layout using papers from my Swirlydoos KOTM. The papers are from the new prima "lyric collection". I also punched some circles using my new MS punch. I distressed the edges and painted with chalk ink. 

Some of the butterflies and flowers are prima wood embellishments which I covered with embossing powder from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I just love that stuff!

I also added some flowers from both prima and kaisercraft. 

The photo is one in the same, just duplicated and printed one of them in color. It's a pic of my beautiful mother and me.

Project Life Challenge at Stuck On U Sketches

Hello Everyone!
This is the first of one of our new challenges at Stuck On U Sketches. It's a Project Life Challenge involving buttons. It's super easy and super fun. So head on over to to SOUS and check out the rest of the design teams wonderful creations. This challenge will run from July 3rd-16th.

The following is my project life creation:

I used some papers from the prima Lyric Collection. This is a page created for my hubby. It's a documentation of his first day of work as an LVN. 

I woke up early in the morning to take photo's of him getting ready for his first day of work as a nurse. He was so nervous and I was so excited.
