I made these Birthday tags for one of my dear friends from work. It was her daughters 7th Birthday and her daughter LOOOOOVE's Justin Bieber. So I made these tags for her candy bags. They came out so cute, although I'm not sure what these little girls see in this little guy.
I colored the tags with distress ink, stamp embossed, and glimmer misted. I had to make about 23 of them and when I was done my fingers felt sore..LOL I handmade the flowers using TH's Distress Flower die.
And here's another pic
Here's a pic of the back of the tag. I misted with glitz spritz from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I also stamp embossed "love, Sarah 7" in hot pink.

Stuck On U Sketches
Below is the layout I submitted for the sketch challenge above at Stuck On U Sketches. This challenge began April 13th and runs for two weeks. My layout is titled "She's got a smile that it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories." For those of you thinking that this title might, or maybe just sound a little familiar. Well, it's a song verse from Guns N' Roses- Sweet Child O' Mine. I just love using song lyrics for titles.
Anyhoo, I used the Swirlydoos kit "Whispers of Spring" to create this layout. It's a picture of my niece Mia, little girls are just so wonderful to snap photos of and scrap.
This is a close up of my flower that I made using TH's tattered floral die. I then spritzed with some TA chalk ink and smooch spritz in ginger ale. I crumbled the flower in my hand while wet to give the flower some dimension. Once dry, I inked the petals with some brown chalk ink.
Here's a close up of some of the title. I also did a little bit of hand stitching here.
I covered the back of the chipboard with feathers from petaloo premier pack in cream.
And the title again

Once Upon a Sketch Entry
Below is the sketch and my layout submitted for the Once Upon a Sketch entry. The title says "You are my Home" and the hidden journaling says:
You are the love
That completes me
You are the touch
That has freed me
I look in your eyes
And I know
You're my home
You were the light in the window
When I couldn't find my way
You led my heart to
A warm tender place
Here beside you...

Round Robin Challenge at Swirlydoos
This layout is titled "Enjoy every magical adventure". I took a picture of my niece Mia while she was enjoying her Easter egg hunt in our backyard this weekend. This layout was submitted for the round robin challenge over at swirlydoos. I used papers from two past swirlydoos kits', Vintage Fae and Grandma's Garden.
Here is a closeup of the chipboard DA0629 from Dusty Attic I used. I painted it with a couple of layers of embossing powder from Lindy's. The flower is from prima and the butterfly's are from Angelica's Little Scrap Shop on etsy.
I used an MS punch to cut the flower pattern into the picture itself, and also added some pink blink. I fussy cut the fairy and flowers using paper from the G45 line.
Here's a closeup of my flower cluster. I just love these prima vines, flowered tendrils in Rosette color. I handmade the large flower using the bella donna flower tutorial from Natasha's blog.
I hand stitched the punched paper using embroidery floss.

Swirlydoos Swirly Girls Challenge "Lets Hear it for the Boy"
This is a layout I submitted at Swirlydoos titled "You are the gears to my heart". This is a pic of my wonderful and loving husband, Bob. The challenge was to create a layout of the man/men/son's in our lives and to make it look like a manly man layout. So this is what I submitted using the kit of the month from Swirlydoos called "French Quarter". The papers are gorgeous, they are from Glitz's French Kiss line, and they are so wonderfully versatile.
Here is another picture with a more detailed view. I used photoshop to make the picture look more vintage to fit the papers. The two large flowers I handmade using Natasha Naranjo Aguirre's cabbage rose tutorial. I inked the edges with chalk ink and spritzed with TA Abominable Snowman for added shimmer. The other flowers are from Petaloo and Kaiser mini blooms which were included in our kit.
My corner chippy is DA from the Leafy Frame Set DA0605. I painted it with acrylic paint, then glazed with rock candy crackle paint. Once dried, I spritzed it with some Orchard Silver starburst spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang.
Another upclose view of the cabbage rose.
The gears are Donna Salazar's Sprightly Sprockets Spellbinder Die. I gesso'd some paper, stamp embossed and spritzed with some orchard silver starburst spray. When the paper dried completely, I then cut the sprightly sprocket gears.
